I hold the yarn in half and insert needle and thread

Sew the yarn down to the head

Making a Waldorf Doll

I started making Waldorf dolls a few months ago. I bought a book called Making Waldorf Dolls by Maricristin Sealey.I love making them!

This is a 12 inch doll I made.

On this doll I used the crochet cap method of putting on her hair. I crochet a cap to fit the doll, then cut the strands of yarn to the desired length,I then use a crochet hook to hook each strand of yarn into the cap.I used Sherpa Wool yarn for the hair.
